| 自己紹介 | Nice to meet you, my name is Dan Wheelhouse. I have been living in working in Japan since 2005, currently I work for a large language school teaching business English to a variety of clients. Currently I am looking for a flexible job in the English language industry to help supplement my income. Originally I'm from Southeast England. I studied cultural history in Brighton England and gained a BA honours degree before coming to Japan. I completed a Masters degree in international history last year. I am very interested in history and politics, and in addition to teaching business English / general English I would like the opportunity to teach some kinds of academic lessons if possible. Regarding my work experience in Japan: I started working for an English conversation school in Tokyo, I taught a wide range of people, both conversational and business English while working here. I worked in the conversation school for about a year before moving to Saitama to teach at junior high schools and Elementary schools. I held this position for six years. About 12 years ago, I started working for my current company, during this time, I have taught at many different companies and businesses in the Tokyo/greater Tokyo area. Additionally, I have also taught at five different universities, one of which was a long-term contract of three years. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing pool and video games, watching movies, listening to music, reading, and cooking. My longest University posting was 3 years. |
