| 自己紹介 | Hello there!! My name is Gustavo, I'm from Brazil and around age 6 I started studying English, by age 10 I got a Nintendo DS and played Pokemon every single day, since it was in English I developed a fun way of learning through games! Since then I didn't own any books that weren't in English, I started teaching English by age 16 and I always loved to do so! I have experience teaching to ages from around 7 years old up until around 65 years old, I was an English teacher at a private school, so I had regular classes with up until 6 students, focusing on the development of the students English skills while also focusing on the social part by interacting with other students, at the same time I also taught VIP(one-on-one) classes, which were focused on individual goals like traveling, struggling at school/work or just wanting to improve a certain skill like listening and/or pronunciation, the main focus would be on the students own goal to learn, we would have daily exercises, homework check, and then we would proceed with the studying materials or work on another subject of interest. After I came to Japan I also got to work as an Conversational English Teacher, I taught from beginner classes up until advanced ones, while also participating in various gatherings with the students where we would interact and do activities in English. I'm a very curious person, so I also studied other languages like Latin, French and Italian but unfortunately I didn't progress on those languages so today I only speak Portuguese, English, Spanish, Japanese and Norwegian, but I'm excited to learn a new language as soon as I master Japanese! I also like the Japanese life style very much, Japanese music, anime, manga, movies and TV series and so on. At home I cook mostly Japanese food like Okonomiyaki, Modanyaki, Takoyaki, Omuraisu, Onigiri, Sushi, Handrollmaki, Ramen and so on!! I'm very passionate about teaching and changing experiences with others and also I don't like boredom so I like to teach in ways which we can all enjoy while learning with each other, so I'm very excited to be have have a great chat with you!
