| 自己紹介 | Hello everyone, and welcome to Link Talk! My name is Gary, and I'm really looking forward to being your English teacher. I've been teaching English here in Japan for a long time, working with all sorts of students – from junior high schoolers to adults and even retirees. This means I've learned a lot about making English lessons fun and effective for everyone, no matter your age or current skill level. For the past 25 years, I've primarily taught at a technical college in Tokyo, helping students prepare for exciting careers in hotels and travel. We focus on how English can open up new possibilities around the world. I especially love seeing my students grow in confidence and realize how much English can help them in their future jobs and lives. I also have experience teaching English for some really interesting and specific situations. For instance, I've worked with J. League referees on managing tough situations in English, and I currently help a leading orthopedic surgeon prepare for his international presentations. What this means for you is that I'm great at creating lessons that are useful and tailored to your specific needs and goals. My main goal is for you to not only learn English but also to feel a real sense of achievement in every class. I want you to always leave our sessions knowing that you've made clear progress and feeling more confident than when you started. I'm excited to help you on your English language journey! |
