We are looking for On-Line Teachers
for our On-line English School “Link Talk”

Students range from children to adults.

Students : Age 6 to 22 (including adults)
Teaching fields: English daily conversation to Academic fields

We would like to help our students speak and discuss confidently through our service. You can either talk to children through discussion or critical thinking by giving knowledges of your academic fields.

We are looking for teachers who are active, enjoy conversing with other people.

“Link Talk” is a service for students from age 6 to adult who want to talk in English and learn English at home via ZOOM. The operating company is Alive Co., Ltd. (Alive English School), based in Nagoya, Japan. Please see our WEB page.

If you become a teacher for us, you will:

  • be able to work at home
  • make your own schedule
  • control your own one on one lesson
How to apply:
  1. Fill in the Application form. (Please upload a short introduction with a photo including an introduction of your university or town.)
  2. Upon approval of an application we will have a brief interview via Zoom.
  3. Please include the time(s) you are able to teach on-line on the schedule sheet　and wait till the students make an entry into your class.
  4. Choose your field(s) below and the age and level of the students that you wish to teach.
  5. The instructor receives an e-mail with a lesson time and a Zoom URL of the student.
Job Description:

How to start the lesson

  1. When the times comes, the teacher contacts the student via Zoom and starts the lesson at the scheduled time.
  2. Make sure that you should be ready before 10 minutes the class start.

After the lesson

  1. The instructor needs to turn into the worksheet that you used for the lesson.
  2. Make sure you needs to fill in what you did briefly and give us a feedback.

How to receive the Payment

  • Instructor can receive payment when the total amount of your fee to be received reaches 5,000 yen. (Minimum payment is 5,000 yen). When the total charge (after the commission deduction) reaches 5,000 yen, our company pays you the charge through PayPal (you must have a PayPal account) or Money transfer.In “Money transfer” case, a transfer fee (for bank accounts outside Japan or in Japan) will be deducted. Note that the rate will be calculated on the basis of 20 minutes.

Working days and hours: You can freely determine (preferably, in consideration of the time difference between your country and Japan).
Requirements:
  • Being familiar with operating ZOOM
  • Being patient and understanding when teaching beginners. (If you accept beginner.)
  • Can cover some of the topics listed below.
